If you failed to use your time wisely to be finished with your project or were not prepared to present on time, you may make up the project under the "all students proficient" rule for a 70. To do this, you must write a six page, double spaced, 12 font essay covering the 6 topics discussed in your presentation. This is:
1. Description of the culture 2. Decision making and consents in the culture and how to handle as a health care worker 3. Health, illness, and death in the culture and how to handle as a healthcare worker 4. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum in the culture and how to handle as a health care worker 5. Dietary restrictions and traditional foods of the culture and how to handle as a health care worker 6. Religious and spiritual practices of the culture and how to handle as a health care worker This means one page on EACH of the topics presented. This should not be hard since ALL of you have at least done your research. If you hand write your paper instead of type, it should be written neatly in medium print and without skipping lines. For those of you who missed the disease presentation due to an excused absence, you may write a 2 page essay based on the disease you and your partner researched and discuss all the points you would have talked about in your presentation for a regular test grade. This would include the disease information sheet you filled out in class. If you missed the presentation due to not being ready, lost or unknown passwords to prezi, or due to leaving flash drives at home, your presentation is counted as a "0" test grade until you turn this in. When you turn it in, it will be seen as a retake grade, which will start at a 70.
